Job Purpose
We are seeking an energetic, highly self-motivated researcher to join CNIBR to support oncology drug discovery in the epigenetics areas.

Major Accountabilities
1)A person in this role will be heavily involved in understanding the drug target bi-ology using chemical tool compounds and applying the gained knowledge to strengthen the translational aspects of the projects, such as biomarker develop-ment and indication expansion etc.
2)He/she may also be involved in new target identification and validation from public or internal databases.
3)Work primarily in the lab on cancer, epigenetics and immunology research.
4)Be responsible for results, along with communication and presentation of such results.
5)Establish collaboration both internally and externally, provide technical expertise across functions/teams, and communicate results for group.

Ideal Background
Education: A MS degree in life science and 2+ years of drug discovery experience.
Languages: Excellent oral and written skills in English, fluent in Mandarin is preferred.
Experience/Professional Requirement:
1.Experience with cell based methods (Cell culture, cell growth/proliferation assays and FACS analysis) are required. Good understanding of epigenetics or immunology is a plus.
2.The candidate must be highly self-motivated and have good communication skills to work in a collaborative team environment. Excellent writing and presentation skills, with good multi-tasking ability are needed.
3.Competences in maintaining lab notebooks and computer files are also required.
