(Senior) Software Development Engineer
Elekta’s hardware and software solutions for radiotherapy form an integrated workflow approach that is needed to achieve the best outcomes for the patients. Furthermore, Elekta’s software solutions can optionally be implemented through cloud-based and on premise cloud offerings, providing customers with a scalable solution for a secure, high performing and fail-safe infrastructure, critical to high-volume, point of care systems.
Treatment Management is used to design optimal treatment, with the aim of targeting powerful, high-precision doses at the tumor, while avoiding damage to healthy tissue. The latest version of Monaco? treatment planning system enables the sharing of treatment plans and simultaneous planning for multiple patients, leading to faster and more efficient treatment planning. Monaco is a comprehensive treatment planning system that supports all major treatment techniques.
You will work as a member of global agile teams, be involved into whole life cycle of software development, research new technology and implement algorithms/architectural designs. The candidate will gain experience of developing large-scale comprehensive software system.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Ensure software quality standards are met through documentation, risk analysis and testing support.
- Review, provide guidance and feedback to colleagues as needed
- Proactive about identifying, troubleshooting and fixing complex problems.
- Develop with Agile philosophy and Scrum methodology.

Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)
- BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Medical or related field of study
- 2+ years of software development experience in C++ under linux.
- Familiar with Real Time OS.

Nice to have:
- Familiar with .net/c#/WCF/WPF.
- ded development experience is high preferred
- Experience in TDD is high appreciated
- Experience in CAN/CANOpen/Modbus
- Experience in EA modle/cmake/eclipse
- Experience in medical software.
- Experience in agile development process (Scrum)
