Reporting to:Planning & Fulfillment ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the AU-AUMA-Instrumentation Operations in ABB China.You will be mainly accountable for: ● Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and ****ing delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements. ● Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. ● Recommending **** agreements to management and executing upon approval. ● Analyzing and ****uating bids to determine the optimal value.Qualifications for the role ● Bachelor degree, Major: Business management or International trade is preferred. ● At least 3 years purchasing experience in manufacturing environment . ● Basic knowledge in general purchasing principle, especially in the International trading sector. ● Good computer skill, have the knowledge and experience in SAP and EXCEL is preferred. ● You are at ease communicating in Chinese and English.What’s in it for you?We want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
